WHO makes the clothes?
Our small Atelier in Delhi consists of only five people from different places in India. The meeting of various cultures in the team gives the chance for exchanges and different influences to our projects.
Best tailors and embroiderers enrich with their knowledge and excellent work the collections of Permanent Vacation every day.
Since we manufacture mostly unique pieces each piece needs a lot of attention, time, patience and precision therefore our team puts a lot of effort in each garment.
WHAT are they made of?
Most of the garments are made of sarees, that are bought and collected from the designer while travelling trough India. Most of them are upcycled vintage sarees that were stored in wardrobes of Indian ladies and no longer worn.
Permanant Vacation is constantly seeking for new techniques and old forgotten handcrafts while travelling through deep India and other countries.
We use Ikat, tie and dye, blockprints and jacquard fabrics some of them are hand loomed and all produced in India.
