Permanent Vacation began as a quiet experiment, born from
years spent in the refined world of Parisian luxury fashion. What started as an intimate project creating singular garments for friends, with the care and detail of high end fashion but the heart of something personal and accessible, slowly unfolded into a deeper story.

A serendipitous journey to India changed
everything. Immersed in the vibrant textures, bold spirit, and rich traditions
of Indian handcraft, the project found new purpose. In 2017, among the monsoon
rains in Goa, our first garments took shape made from vintage sarees, each
telling its own story. The journey continued to New Delhi, where the studio found its home, and the vision, its roots.


Now based between Paris and New Delhi, Permanent Vacation
bridges two worlds. We work with storied Indian textiles Khadi, Ikat, Linen,
Silk, and especially vintage sarees in cotton and silk breathing new life into
them through up cycling. Each piece is crafted in close collaboration with
skilled artisans in small workshops, where fair working conditions and mutual
respect are not just ideals, but daily practice.

Every garment is a limited edition, an object of intention,
shaped to last, meant to be worn and remembered. We believe clothing should not
only dress the body, but also tell a story, hold a memory, echo a place in
time.

Our style weaves Indie-European spirit with urban ease. It
speaks in silhouettes that shift between function and grace, unfolding like a
slow dance between nature and the city, past and present, permanence and
escape.

This is the essence of Permanent Vacation: a journey
without end, a wardrobe shaped by wanderlust, and a soul stitched with quiet
rebellion.

We design without boundaries. Our garments are not tied to gender, they are shaped to flow with individuality.
Each piece is a canvas, to be styled by the wearer in a way that reflects their
identity, not defined by it. In partnership, in friendship, in solitude, our

We don’t follow the fashion calendar. Our collections unfold as stories—each one a continuation of the last, revealed
only when it’s ready. Inspired by the sarees we discover, by the fabrics that
cross our path, every project is born from what’s found, not forced. These
garments are made to travel through climates, cultures, and time—meant to be
worn all year, everywhere.

We create from what already exists.
Each piece begins with a journey through India, where we collect vintage sarees
once cherished, now resting quietly in wardrobes. We up cycle these
textiles, rich with memory into new garments, giving them a second life. We also
work with dead stock fabric from factories, and use every leftover scrap to
craft small accessories or patchwork pieces. Nothing is wasted. Everything is
transformed.
